Mode S Consultation

The meeting at Pocklington on April 11th was very well attended: most of the cross-country pilots in the North of Engand must have been there along with the ballooning and microlight communities. Sandra Williams of Trent Valley took some notes and Andrew has fleshed out the answers a bit. The report can be viewed here.

Ouse News

The Spring 2008 edition of Ouse News is now on line.

Tom Hollins has indicated that it's his last as editor; so far there's been no volunteers to replace him. Anyone out there want to do it? How do we feel about the idea of a club magazine (which no one seems to want to write for anyway?). Views to the forum, but don't forget that there are people out there without internet access

New clubhouse open for business

reception

After many months and hard word by a dedicated team of a few members the new clubhouse has opened its doors, and the office has relocated.

Revised web site goes live

Welcome to the new members area.

Here you will find links to all the areas of the site that we think are of more interest to club members than the rest of the world, plus some interesting new ones. These include a members discussion forum where you can read and post messages for your fellow members.

You will see some of the links on the menu are tagged "Login required". All we need from you is your surname, membership number, and the postcode where you live. If your login fails it's probably because for some reason your details don't match those on our database; if this happens please call or e-mail the office.

On-line booking of flying training also now comes through this part of the site- the same login will be recognised.
